2025 Awards Ceremony Info
November 10, 2025
Hi everyone. Our awards ceremony starts at 1PM this Saturday, but you’re welcome to race at IndyKart before then or after. They’ve given us membership pricing without an IndyKart membership fee. I’ll be there when they open at 11 & can give you special wristbands that’ll be recognized at registration desk. If you haven’t raced there before, please register at the pads located near the main mall entrance before going to the desk.
For those interested in keeping skills sharp, the best pricing is become a member & buy the 10 races for $120 pack. Use anytime. Extra races accumulate also, and hold over year to year. There’ll be a winter league also, watch website. Some extraordinary drivers. 30 minute endurance race once a month separate from league. 4 mandatory pit stops to jog & change karts- very well organized. Think you couldn’t do it? That’s what I thought at first, but soon you get into the grove & more worried about counting & timing your mandatory pit stops than fatigue!
In the past I’ve chosen not to race with first timers, thinking any experience might frustrate their enjoyment of their first time. But tried & found something very interesting. It gives great experience dodging incidences & gives opportunities for safe passing, but please be cautious & safe. A great way to learn for those who want or need more exposure to this aspect of racing. I think it encourages newcomers also to see what can be done with experience.
See you at our GVKC Annual Awards Ceremony!
