Sat Practice 10/17 cancelled. AWARDS 11/21

CANCELLING SAT PRACTICE 10/17 due to unusually cold weather. Our last race Sun 10/18 is on with temperatures in upper 60s. There were some last week that felt we should cancel the last race as class winners are already clear & many of our regulars couldn’t come. But on further thought by several, we should follow through on our original schedule. Bikers will be practicing Sunday afternoon after our racing since Saturday will be far too cold for their tires.

Sat Nov 21 will be our Awards, 11-3 at Indykart. Please bring a dish to pass for lunch. Beverages will be provided. Let’s plan on noon for lunch, 1 PM for Awards. Plenty of time before and after to run at IndyKart, which opens at 11:00. I’ll have coupons for $16 races that will be valid all day. Please take advantage of this opportunity as it supports Indykart’s generosity in making the room available for us.

We’ll be heavily concentrating on crack repairs now that the season’s over to prevent damage over the winter. If you’re available on a particular day, weekend or weekday, let me know by text or Gmail and I’ll meet you at the track and instruct on the professional techniques and materials designed for colder applications that we’ve learned from racetrack repair specialists. We’re a club that relies on it’s people to maintain the facility, which we greatly appreciate and which keeps our prices lower. 

This season has brought forward many who have helped with facility maintenance and especially on race and practice days. The club wishes to give great thanks to our kart and bike community who have come together as a new highly successful leadership team. Come celebrate with us on Nov 21st!
