2026 Rookie School 4/25/26

All those new to racing at GVMC need to attend our Rookie School even if experienced.  Sat April 25, gate & waivers open at 9, school at 10. Karts & gear need to be race ready. If you’re new to asphault kart racing, contact Rich Gamrod of Rich’s Karts & Parts, 8741 Main St Honeoye.  585-748-6749. He’s our technical expert & his shop provides karts, parts & advice. His service trailer is at the track every raceday. He can check out your kart & gear before hand at his shop so everyone at Rookie School is up to our safety standards. Bring some basic tools so we can show newcomers the basics of kart  maintenance.

Make sure your helmet is up to Snell standards. Snell 2015s have expired (10 years) yet you’ll see them on sale. Snell 2020s good through 2030, Snell 2025s good through 2035.
